Here are some things that we have been doing:
We have learned about two different authors so far during our Author Study time...Kevin Henkes and Robert Munsch are awesome! We cannot wait to learn about some more. Everytime we find a "footprint" of the author, Mrs. Gault puts it up on our Author of the Month board.

Working on our dictionary monkeys. Everybody made a monkey and included the parts of a definition on the cluster of bananas...including the pronunciation, part of speech, definition, and page number. We've gone bananas over dictionary skills, for sure!
Our EAGLEFEST campfire pumpkin! We sat around it and enjoyed some marshmellows while Mrs. Gault read to us.
