We feel a little famous:)

Each month our class learns about a different children's book author and their craft of writing. During the month of September, we read many books by the one-and-only, Robert Munsch. After our monthly study and reading TONS of his books, we wrote friendly letters to him, telling him how much we loved his books and his craft of writing. Today we received a letter back, with lots of information about him and details about how he became an author. He also sent the text from an unpublished book that he has written, which included SOME, not all, of our actual names from our class. (We were disappointed that he didn't include them all, but we understand!) We thought the story was HILARIOUS:) We sure do love learning about different authors each month and we especially enjoy hearing from one of our favorites!
