Happy Turkey Day

On our two days of Thanksgiving week, we learned all about the pilgrims and indians that celebrated our country's very first Thanksgiving. Did you know the Mayflower is 90 feet long? That is the same distance from the doors to our gym to our guidance office. We also talked about the indians and their contributions. We even made our own indian vests, wampum belts, and headdresses. At the end of the day, we had some vegetable soup and a special cookie snack with our friends. We sure are thankful for our school and friends!
