Each Friday we have a Language of the Standards quiz bowl. Five questions are asked for each subject...math, language arts, science, and social studies. These questions can be on standards that we have already discussed or on items that we will learn later on in the year. For example...one question for this week in Science was "What are the strongest parts of a magnet?" Answer...its poles! Of course the kiddos knew this because we have recently studied magnets. This past week, our class got our "ALL TIME BEST" in ALL FOUR SUBJECTS! This is so awesome. This means that we are getting smarter each week! Check out our goals and our score for the week. The best score would be 115 points with every student getting all five questions correct for each subject. The score is the number of questions correct for each subject! Wow...I was so proud of the Giddy-Ups! Mrs. Barlow came and took our picture and we did two dances to celebrate! HOORAY!!!
